Celebrating Tashanah’s New Admin Traineeship
We are so proud of you, Tashanah! Securing your Admin Traineeship is an incredible achievement.
Tashanah is a participant in the Return to Work Pathways Program that Her Futures Foundation delivers. Funded by the NSW Government, the program’s aim is to support women who are experiencing complex and persistent barriers to employment to enter or re-enter the workforce, helping them gain increased work readiness and secure sustainable employment.
Support Provided
Getting Tashanah ready for her traineeship meant addressing practical, real-world barriers alongside building her confidence and skills. We helped Tashanah obtain the police check she needed to land the traineeship through Mob Ready, and connected her with Dress for Success NSW & ACT, who generously provided her with work-ready clothing.
Program Impact
Tashanah’s journey is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when the right support meets determination. Congratulations, Tashanah — we can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes you!
Program Overview
The Return to Work Pathways Program is a NSW Government-funded initiative, delivered under the Premier’s Department Women NSW portfolio, designed to support women facing complex and persistent barriers to employment. Whether these barriers stem from long absences from the workforce, lack of formal qualifications, or systemic disadvantage, the program provides tailored, holistic support to help participants build work readiness and secure sustainable employment. Central to this approach are individualised pathways, access to job-specific tickets and licenses, guidance from First Nations facilitators and peers, and practical support such as resume writing, interview coaching, and employer advocacy.
We’re celebrating one of our program’s proudest moments: Tashanah’s achievement in securing an Admin Traineeship.
